The Obligatory Fall Pumpkin Patch Post

I think this was one of my first visits to a pumpkin patch other than an Eckerts, but since Eckerts is mostly Apples, I'm guessing that doesn't count. The only reason I got Tim to go this year was due to a certain 2 year old whose finger he is pretty tightly wrapped around. Personally, I would have gone to these kids or no kids, but at least now he doesn't have a choice. This year, the weather was a little warm and the babies sometimes got a little cranky (except for Rachel, I think she got the good baby award that day), but all in all we had a fun October outing. Pumpkins, funnel cakes and friends... a perfect October Saturday...

Take a look at all the pics and commentary here.

Oh, and here's a little tip to pumpkin farmers, you might want to consider having
Anheuser Busch Inbev sponsor your patch in the future - you might have a little better attendance from types similar to my husband.

Has the pumpkin patch taken the place of Oktoberfest? Who have we become?

Oh, ouch that's so true. I've thought about it a lot and just thought this year was too hard to organize, but hopefully, maybe next year?! Before every weekend from here to eternity is full of sporting events and practices...

I agree w/ Big D, cute photos and loved the captions. That was fun after a long kid filled day, made me realize how cute they are again!
