Man vs. Woman in the battle of dinner preparation
My brother in law (and I'm not saying which one here to protect his anonymity) thinks that in 90% of married middle-class families, the woman always plans and prepares dinner.
I don't know about all of you, but this is how Tim and I prepare dinner every night (isn't it uncanny how closely this stock photo mirrors our real appearance?):
Here is what I found on the topic:
Only one -third of people under age 30 say the woman usually plans dinner, compared with 62 percent of those aged 70 or older.
What do you guys think?

I didn't know Barbie and Ken could cook! We generally don't stand this close for any reason, much less food prep.
Hi Erin, I love your website! In our household, it goes like this: Me, "What do you want to do for dinner?" Thomas, "Hmmm...what do we have?" Me, I list off everything in the fridge, Thomas, "Ok, let's make a meat sauce, chop the veggies, add some beef bouillon, garlic, boil the pasta, and there we go." Me, "Ok" and I prepare the food. So Thomas plans, and I prepare. Does that make us weird or something?
